About this service
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation uses a smooth stainless instrument over the skin to work on tight fascia, tendon and scar tissue. It is a hands-on technique, not a separate cure, and is followed by stretching and strengthening.
Some redness can appear where the instrument is used and usually settles within a day. Intensity is set by the physiotherapist according to your problem.
